As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business, employing veterans and enabling them to continue to serve is a central tenet of our company.
More than 87% of our employees are veterans, and almost all of those who aren’t have served in Law Enforcement.
Not only are we proud of this fact, we want to put it on even greater display the extraordinary members of Meridian’s team. So it is our pleasure to announce the Meridian Veteran Spotlight, where every month we will introduce one of the veterans from across the country who serve our clients with the Meridian Standard.
Antoinette Biddle is a 34-year-old Air Force Veteran from Lake Charles, Louisiana. Biddle has worked for Meridian for more than a year, where she started as a guard before being promoted to shift supervisor for night shift.
Biddle has more than 10 years of successful leadership experience with a reputation for the meeting and exceeding the most demanding information and physical security goals and objectives. She was a Security Forces Member in the USAF, providing security for 20 Special Air Mission aircraft and Air Force One. Biddle also conducted overseas physical security, entry control, was responsible for continuous vigilance on all assigned resources, and provided immediate armed response to all alarms involving Air Force Protection Level 1, 2 and 3 resources.
“At the end of the day goals are simple: safety and security,” Biddle said when we asked her about her priorities with Meridian.
